in the salon of Hartig and Salon Sybille
For your wedding celebration in the castle or festive occasions in a stylish setting, the Schlosshotel Althörnitz offers two extraordinary rooms that combine history, elegance, and individuality.
The Salon von Hartig is named after Dr. Christian von Hartig, a respected mayor and physician of Zittau in the 17th century. Located in the historic castle tower, the room is full of significance: here, discussions were once held regarding the development of the famous Meissen porcelain. Today, this charming and rustic room provides a unique backdrop for wedding parties, festive receptions, or private dinners – with plenty of character and the flair of past centuries.
The Salon Sybille is named in honour of Dr. von Hartig's wife, Sybille. The light-filled room impresses with its elegant atmosphere and direct access to the castle terrace. Overlooking the well-kept castle garden, this room is perfect for stylish, smaller wedding celebrations.
The rooms can be separated or combined as desired and accommodate approximately 60 guests.
