Crescendo Bar
The Crescendo Bar at the Schlosshotel Althörnitz is the perfect place for social hours and stylish conclusions. The "Crescendo Bar" on the first floor of the Schlosshotel Althörnitz is named in honour of Johann Jacob von Hartig, a talented musician and composer of the 17th century. Johann Jacob von Hartig, son of the castle builder and former mayor of Zittau, was known not only as a musician but also as a conductor and composer. The "Crescendo Bar" is therefore not only a stylish place for a drink but also a historical retreat where we serve you selected wines, creative cocktails, and exquisite spirits.
Terrace to the Castle Park
A place to breathe: On the castle terrace of the Schlosshotel Althörnitz, you are greeted with a unique view of the approximately 30,000 m² large park – a green oasis that invites you to linger. In nice weather, our terrace is the perfect spot to leave everyday life behind and enjoy the tranquility of the Upper Lusatian castle landscape.
